Mission

With my consultancy Bureau Blueland I want to help water experts to communicate their message, from a firm knowledge base and with a feeling for communication. I am experienced in many water issues, such as flood risks, the impact of climate change, salinization, droughts and river management. I want to keep on gaining more in-depth knowledge on these issues and I want to keep on publishing for scientists, water managers and the wide audience. I can be the link between water experts and their target groups thanks to over 20 years of experience with regard to the content.

Creating overview, interpreting information and connecting knowledge, that’s what my consultancy is all about. I want to work in line with researchers, policymakers and managers. I want to help them to reach their goals by connecting their knowledge, messages and issues with those of others. What’s more, I want to keep on innovating. Bring up new subjects, take new roads and find new ways of bringing socially relevant subjects out into the open. That’s why I do not only work for clients but start my own initiatives as well.
